This delightful hand felted natural wool bird house was made in Nepal by skilled artisans working in a fair trade production center. Yes, it can be hung outside as well as inside. Its made of naturally water repellent wool so when it does get wet, it dries out naturally too. Made with other sustainably harvested materials such as a braided hemp hanging cord and bamboo perch.

The opening is sized at 1.25" for use by Chickadees, Wrens, Titmouse, Nuthouse and Downy Woodpeckers. The hole can be enlarged to 1.5" to accommodate Tree Swallows and Bluebirds.
