Spring Herbal Craft Fair Featuring Local Herbalists
Mar

Thank you to our vendors and participants who joined us on March 3rd.  It was a magickal day.  If you would like to connect with our vendors, they are all listed below.  Shari

Meet Fox Valley’s herbalists as they share their hand crafted products like salves, creams, lotions, tinctures, syrups and herb infused oils for purchase on Saturday March 3rd at Peaceful Parlour in Geneva. Herbalists generally forage the plants that are in and around our community or those that are grown easily in a garden and magically turn them into safe and effective medicine. Learn some of our favorites for cold and flu season, dry skin and kiddo boo boos.  Please note that vendors will most likely only accept cash or check. Peaceful Parlour will accept all forms of payment to make the herbal remedies offered during this event.

Shari with Peaceful Parlour will offer a demonstration at 12pm discussing the benefits of Nourishing Herbal Infusions. Learn how they differ from tea and why you should be drinking them daily. If you suffer from inflammation, weak bones, low energy and want to be resilient and adaptable, this is for you.

Shari was kind enough to invite us to showcase some of our numerous herbal and gardening books that we can’t normally keep in the store due to space. Many of them came to us via donation from art studios and some local farms. It’s certainly an interesting haul and we’re happy to share these titles exclusively with Peaceful Parlor’s Spring Herbal Craft Fair…. Cathy.
